Help:1979 Dash Pad replacement

Need help! My wife has purchase a new dash pad from corvette america, now the pressure is on me to install this. This is the pad not the cover. I am new to this restoration stuff and do not have a clue on how to even remove a vent! I have purchase a book etc, and can not fine instructions on how to do this. I would aprreciate any help or pics on replacing the pad.

Get an Assembly Manual. You can find them on e-bay or any catlog house. it will show you how it all fits together. Mine sure has helped me. Good luck.

Yes, I do have the assembly manual. I was kind of hoping on more detail. I know that is asking alot!
