My car is a '94 with sport seats. The switch that controls both seats is acting up. What is odd is that when the sw. is in 'PS' (passenger side) position, all the lumbar functions work for that seat, but when you use the control to move the seat fore/aft, the driver's seat moves instead. Any suggestions appreciated.

My '94 was doing this when I bought it last year! I thought it was the control switch, and was about to order the part (and it's not cheap), but I finally fixed it for free.

There's a wire harness under the dr. seat that has a Y with 2 identical connectors. They are reversed - unplug and switch them.

Thank you, SR ! I had the seat out months ago and must have switched them. I even marked them with nail polish, but I guess not well enough. This time I'll do it right. Jeff

You're welcome.

With the connectors reversed, the colors of the wires matched and with the connectors in the right place, the colors were mismatched, so I had my doubts that this was going to work - but it did.

Hope it does the trick for you also

SR, you are exactly right. It worked. Thanks again. To the engineers at GM, all I have to say is WTF?!
