I bought a Dana 36 3.07 complete carrier to replace my 2.59. Should fit right? Well I found my first glitch. The new one is from an 84, and mine is a 92. The spindle support rod bolts on the 92 were 1/2". The 84 has holes for 3/8" bolts. The area around the whole on the 92 is larger also. As I see it I have 3 choices, 1 - put the 2.59 back in, 2 - drill out the 3/8" hole to 1/2" and use the 1/2" bolts with a small case area around the bolt, 3 - buy 4 3/8" bolts that obviously aren't as strong as 1/2" bolts. What do you think?

Thanks

Jim
