Help figureing out what part this is

Hey haha back again trying to learn the ends and outs of my corvette...stumbled apon this peice while detailing my engine dont know what it is...anywase the same time i was looking at it somthign popped out of it it was almost like you plug it into the silver box...(witch is circled) wondering if maybe it had somthing todo with my power right window all of sudden not working...anywase its loose sorta when i put it back in but ittle stay...(the pictures are from a Haynes repair manuel and the other is from a picture online

If she's a '74, that's the seat belt interlock/theft reset.

i agree . seat belt interlock/system the research i did says the first bunch of 1975s had it also ,i had one mine was half there had to bypass it with help from some guys here ..

well i went and bouhgt a new one my window and my van wont blow air cold or hot...and now my radio and dome light wont come on haha...should i jsut get it rewired...buy all new wires if so how mutch would that be

Check the starter,I believe there are 2-3 Fuse-able links there on the connection with the Positive cable,one or more of them may be blown!!
