HELP! installing a 1986 Z51 30mm sway bar on 1984*

Anyone knows if the 1986 fan shroud (lower) is different than the 1984?
I am installing a 30mm sway bar from an 86 Vette (Z51)
the 1984 sway bar has a lip in center, unlike the 86 which is straight.
the problem is that the straight sway bar will touch the lower shroud, which has a lip sinking downwards and the sway bar has a lip sinking.
Is the 86 lower shroud any different? which has clearance for the straight sway bar?
anyone has pictures of their 1986 or later Corvette (lower) fan shroud ?

I looked in my old parts book and the same shroud was used from 84-88 but to install in an 84 the shroud must be shimmed for clearance.
