I think I made a mistake and that the cars in ark. not arizona but might be worth a quickie flight after you speak with the owner and maybe run carfax?

No convincing this wife, I was happy when my husband wanted to purchase our first C5, had all kinds of fun trying them all out. This time we went with purchasing new, still just as much fun.

Take her for a ride in a C4 with the Z07 handling package, then take her for a ride in a fully loaded C6 with the window sticker in her hand (including the market value mark up), then take her for a ride in a C5... She'll be unhappy with the harsh ride in the C4 Z07, sticker shocked at the C6, and find the C5 a GREAT compromise! Kinda like Goldie Locks and the Three Bears! ;LOL

DanHammer has the right idea.

Take her to the dealer.
It worked for me too.

I drive my Vette daily from snowmelt to snowfall and have recently bought a C-5 as a daily driver; the gas milage is incredible. The room inside (coupe) is much more then you would expect in a car with the performance of the Corvette. Buy the car and let your wife drive it as soon as you get it home, she will be convinced; my wife complained the whole two hour drive to pick up mine, she took it for a 10 minute drive and now its the car we take everywhere:D

But Bossvette, you already had the '76 when you bought your C5, so your wife was already a Vette person. That doesn't sound like it was particularly tough sell. :L

Just get it and let her drive it occasionally ......she'll be hooked.

I always wanted a Corvette but My wife being practical said "not until you have a garage to put it in"...Well I built a new house w/ a garage and jokingly said to her.
"the garage needs a Vette in it" she replied "lets go out tomorrow and order one".
(I love my wife)

The following day as I sat in the drivers seat of a new 1999 amazed at all the buttons & gadgets the C5 had, I looked over at my wife in the passenger seat and she had a grin from ear to ear. "What do you think" I asked............She replyed "this is cool" Coming from a devout SUV driver I think she was hooked. In fact we pick up our C5 at the Museum, my wifes claim to fame is being the first one to take it over 100 MPH as while she was driving one of the legs home from KY we eclipsed the 500 Mile (keep it under 90 MPH) threshold.

Yup you guessed it ........now I drive the SUV (just kidding)

Hi To All,
You can't.
Just buy the car.
If she turns away, it's her problem.
If she can't enjoy the car with, it's her problem.
If she ingores you forever, it's her problem.
If she a one active and alive brain cell, she will be in the car with you.
Sorry to sound so down, it's personnal.

Just Do It!

Just bring it home and tell her it is a gift for her! If she cannot drive a manual shift even better.
