I purchased a street-rod and was told the engine is out of a 1965 corvette with a rare engine. I was told it was produced in Canada and is 1 of 1500 made...Its a 327 and is suppose to have 335 HP or something like that... The block is stamped with the number of... T0 222 HCR.... Could anyone please help me idenify this number...I called the local Chevy Dealership and they couldn't tell me what I have so I thought I'd look for more professional help with this forum in hopes that someone is knowledgeable in this area... Thanks for the help guys.... rastaz@charter.net

Still looking for an HCR, someone may have better source

HCR = 1966 327/275hp Powerglide from a full-size passenger car; not a Corvette engine, as it was made at Tonawanda - all Corvette SB's were made at Flint Engine.

JohnZ,

Where did you find the HCR? I knew someone would have it.
