Help!!! No Reverse ???

Please I need all the help I can get. Just bought this 84 has been sitting for 3 years. Pull the car on the trailer got it home backed it off in the garage all wk.
Started it to move it out backup out of garage sat running about 5min. got in put in reverse started to move than woild not go, cluch all the way out still no go.This is a 4+3 trans ANY HELP.ad

Need more info...

Does it work in other gears?

Is their fluid in the clutch Master cylinder?

Did you check the linkage?

Is their ATF in the overdrive unit...Change it...asap

Gear Lube in the transmission?

If all the above is ok as per the manuel ...then it is most likely the Direct Clutch Plates are burnt in the overdrive unit.

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center.......Change the fluid...Vettes are not made to sit.....Made to be driven......Its better to drive them , than to use them as wall hangers....
