I decided to do a little PM on the car today. I replaced the cap, rotor and coil. No start. I checked all connections, all check out ok. I'm getting 11.5 to the coil from bat. I can't figure it out. I even replaced with my old parts which I know were working and nothing. I decided to check for spark at the plug, nothing. No spark, nada, kaput. Any ideas what could have gone wrong with such a simple procedure.

I know it's been a while since you asked this question but...did ya get it fixed??? I had the same problem. It was the "Electronic Ignition Moduel" inside the distributor that went **** up.....hope your up and running...!! :Steer

You hit the nail on the head magmotor. I just couldn't for the life of me figure out why when I changed the coil and cap, the ign module goes when the car was running fine an hour before. I must have taken the cap off ten times before I went and bought a module. What a PITA. I gotta say with the throttle body cleanout and the new ign parts the throttle response is like new.:cool :Steer Don't ya just love these cars;)

We both got lucky then...! both mods went out in our driveways...!!! :beer couldn't have happend in a better place...;LOL

What amazed me is that I got all the plug wires right after taking the cap off ten times:L
