Ok, i am a dumazz, but i was just down to a glass place to see about re-finishing (what I thought was glass) my top since it is covered with some haze material. Well, the guy takes one look and sez its plastic and can actually push down with his thumb and make the top slightly sag, WTH!!??? I had no idea they were plastic, this true?? Or did some silly put an aftermarket replacement on my vette? He tried buffing it out with this special plastic cleaner, which helped a tad, but its a purty ugly top, so now what?? Spend the big $$ for a new glass top?? Thanks for any info you may have.;shrug

Your no Dumazz, yup there plastic, "acrylic" as StuartGuy sez.

Not cheap though for a piece of plastic. I used plastic polish on mine and it's better, not perfect but bareable.

Thanks Mart & Stuart!

Happens the glass store I went to had some "plastic" polish, cleaned a small spot nicely, but as you said, not perfect but mucho bettero. Will get the buffer out this w/e and give it a go. Thanks y'all.
