Help, replaced brake pads and they "chirp"!

I took the chirping rotor that I removed from the right side and put it on the left last night. No chirp, no pull. Figure THAT one out.
Run it up to about 50 in reverse and see if it chirps!:D

In my 38 years, how many times do you think I saw something that did not make sense? I will answer for you: Many, many times! :rotfl

I rest my case! :boogie

And, oh, by the way, you are very welcome! :upthumbs

SAVE THE :w

The chirping came back the next day and the braking behavior is inconsistent. ;shrug Feel like I'm fighting a losing battle with brakes that aren't that great anyway. Think I'm just going to toss it all and do a C5 brake upgrade. What's the consensus on where to get the adapter brackets?

I got the adapter brackets and upgraded to 2003 Z06 front brakes. The car stops so hard that I don't recommend letting your wife/gf ride in it if she has had an augmentation - they could come flying out and bounce off the windshield. Also not recommended for denture wearers.
