Hello all, well I finally dropped the tranny pan tonight(from jack stands--PIA). but I wanted to do it myself. I also bought the kit from NAPA with the rubber gasket and new filter. When I pulled the old filter down, 1- o-ring came with it. Is there more? Also there is a what looks like a groung strap near the edge of the filter when installed. Does that go over the filter to help it stay up or is it a ground strap to the bottom of the pan.
Also--the new filter looks different from the old one and how do I keep it up when I install the pan?
