When I took off the tranny mount and the shifter mount and all the attaching hardware on the tranny crossmember, I can't seem to remember how it goes back on (:(). Attached are a couple of pictures of what I'm talking about.

Can somebody please help me work out my problem! How does this all go back on? Maybe you have a picture to show me? Diagram? Please help!!! :(

Stallion.

The rubber mount (left photo) bolts between the mount-boss on the bottom of the transmission (shown in center and right photo) and the mount bracket (also center and right photo) on the frame.

The long bolts (left photo) actually come up through the mount bracket in the actual mount. The rubber mount in the photo is upside down.

the flat side of the mount with the two holes in it goes to the transmission and is held in by two cap screws. The heads will be 9/16. The other end has the studs they go through the cross member and are held in with two flat washers and two nuts these also are 9/16. Both the cap screws and the nuts could be metric too. I think 14mm. But thats the way it goes .Sorry I have no pictures but it really is a simple task. Good luck.......Bob Yates

What about those two bolts with the big washers? Where do they go and what do they go into? I'm still slightly confused. :(

Stallion,

Did you get this worked out yet?

Two bolts into the rubber mount up through the mount bracket. Two other bolts (with large washers) up through the rubber mount into the transmission boss.

Okay?

Stallion....I'm sorry I should have looked at your thumb nail picture closer. If you are going to reuse that mount it looks a litle shabby. Anew one is not that much. I don't understand the stud and nut you have in it in the picture. The two bolts and big washers go into the two holes in the transmission boss and the other two bolts should also have good size washers to go on your frame mount. These are the two bolts you have scerwed into the mount in your picture. I hope I'm not confusing you please for give me if I am.....Good luck ....Bob Yates

Darn.... it just hit me the two bolts you have screwed into the mount go into the transmission and the two big washer and bolts go through the frame bracket and screw into the the mount. It's been awhile since I've wothed on a manual shift tranny .Sorry I didn't remember sooner...... BobYates

It's alright, Bob. I figured it out, took a couple of tries...but I finished it!! :D

Thanks, all!! :)
