Heat A/C programmer help locate

1992 corvette ..I think I'm getting closer to my problem after doing some reading in FSM . I found if there is know read out on heat & AC control head .. it is not getting data form heat and AC programmer . I have got a new one coming UPS should be here tomorrow , I hope!! . Now I just have to locate the Heat and AC programmer on the car ...book 2 page 8A-201-0 FSM show a figure of it . it also is say behind center of I/P.. but I think it is on the LH engine ? I'm holding off pulling B/P until part get here....if you can help locate part on car ..please help

ok hope you are in shape gary, get ready to lie on your back w/driverside bottom of seat removed.look up over the gas pedal and to the center a bit.black box with sevarl plastic hoses.pain inthe ass. good luck

Just take the drivers seat out and lay in the floor!!It will make it 10 times easier on the back and make it take half the time!! I've done several in the last couple years!
