Well, I few weeks ago I posted that I had my power steering pump and vacuum lines repaired to the tune of $1,000.00 for both jobs. $413.00 at the dealer for A/C recharge, oil change, finding the power steering problem. $580.00 for a new power steering pump and pulley at a local repair shop. (much cheaper than the dealer wanted)
Now, I pulled the car out of the garage after I put the Diablo Predator tune in it. NO A/C. My local repair wants over $800.00 for the compressor and the normal A/C junk that goes with changing that out.
Might I add that the dealer told me there were no MEASURABLE leaks when they charged it up. They were smart enough to put the dye in it when they charged it. It took the mechanic about two seconds to find the dye all over my engine.
I called the Service Manager and he said I would be charged for any repairs even after they told me there was no leaks just about two weeks ago.
This corvette stuff is getting expensive.
Just needed to vent.
