Within a year, I want to get a C5. I will take it to Putnam Park Road Course, just West of Indy, where I live.
Yes, I know I should get a Z06 for what I want - a true track car. My budget dictates a pre 2001 C5.
The question is, would a 1999 or 2000 Hard Top be much of an advantage over a coupe of the same year in a road course environment?
Also, is there any significant difference between the 1999 and 2000 Hard Top?
Basically, I anticipate people encouraging me to get a Hard Top, based on my taste, but I would like a feel for how much different a Hard Top is from a coupe.
Thanks in advance for your help - this site rocks!
If anyone knows their C5 info, and knows Road Course car setup, I would love swap some emails on the subject.
