I was looking at AFR's page last night. The smallest chamber you can get is 68cc. If you milled the heads and put a really thin head gasket on, how close could you keep the CR to stock?

maximum cut on the AFR heads would yield about 56cc, but that would make those heads unsurfaceble for future maintenace. What's more important when decideing which head to go with is, what they're capable of flowing at a certain lift, and making sure it works with the camshaft that is being used. Most after market heads make most of their high flow numbers at lifts that are above most street engines. Generally the higher the lift, the higher the rpms the engine will be expected to rev. I've had very good luck porting the L98 heads to flow very effeciently all the way up to .550 lift. This was achieved by going to the slightly larger intake valves.

Josh and I have spoken on different occasions, and I believe he's on the right track with some of the bolt ons he's planning on doing, and with proper tunning his beast will easily hit close to 500 rwhp and torque in the 650 plus range.
