Thanks Sub Boy and GroovyJay..

Problem is Total Carb flange to hood height can not exceed 2 3/4 ". I'm using a Drop base for the air cleaner and with a 3 " filter which I must use to clear the choke horn. I can only use a totally flat top lid to clear the hood and choke plate.

I'd like to find another totally flat top lid other then the crappy chrome one that's on there now. But as of yet haven't seen one..
