hhhellllllpppp!!!! NEW EVERYTHING VIBRATION

You say you used new HD stub shafts for your Diff? Well I just had to pull my diff back out b/c the Mid America HD yokes were crap... I had a nasty vibration that was similar to yours but mostly noticable at 70 mph or so but also under acceleration load... Take a look at your yokes and see if they look anything like these...

Have you considered a problem with the throw out bearing? I had a similar situation with my 81. Turned out someone had done a poor weld repair on the linkage - this eliminated any chance of adjusting the free pedal. In that case the bearing was always against the pressure plate. To make a long story short - it damaged the bearing and made it impossible to let the clutch out smoothly - hence a new clutch chattered worse than it's predecessor. Push the pedal to the floor and try to let it out slowly with the engine off. If you feel any chattering - drop the tranny.

UPDATE!!!!!

VIBRATION IS GONE.......CLUTCH NEEDED TO SEAT INTO THE FLYWHEEL....THANKS ALL FOR YOUR IDES AND HELP..........

sounds like it might just be that nice new clutch of yours. Did you have the fly wheel balanced? If so, it could just be the clutch seating itself in. I've had a few extra grippy clutches feel that way for the first say 300 miles.

Congrats Dave.....You are the wiener :upthumbs
