Was driving late on Friday night down FM 61 outside of Graham, TX, on my way home from Roswell, NM to Ft Worth, TX. Came around a curve and nearly hit a whole herd of feral pigs - 20 or 30 of them crossing the road. If I'd had the stock headlights still on the car, I'd be serving BBQ pork at the car's funeral. Best $850 I ever spent.

I darn sure know how bad the lighting is on C4s and C5s. I haven't spent the $850 for new headlights, but I have converted my low beams to HID and recently my fogs and there is a world of difference. I'm glad that you came out on the top side with that situation.

Some of my friends did the bulb conversion on the stock headlights on their 94-96 impalas. They could see, but the lights were kind of blinding to oncoming traffic. I like the sharp cutoff of the HID projectors.

I understand what you are saying. I occasionally will get someone who flashes at me. There are replacement housings that eliminate that issue. I'm looking into adding those this winter.
