high idle 95lt1

does anybody know what the idle should be on a 1995 vett? mine sits about 900rpm when coming to a stop it sticks about 1000 or 1100 rpm. this vett has 55000 mi. on it.could the throttle shaft be worn or throttle body itself. thanks

Possibly your throttle body is dirty & the same for your IAC, vacuum leaks? A cleaning may help. I think the idle shud be about 600 or so, really don't remember.:confused
