Hole In Rotor Hub

Can anyone tell me what this hole is in my RF rotar hub? It is approx. 5/8". I have all 4 wheel assys. off the 65 coupe and none of the other rotor assy. have this hole. Thank you.....Bill B.
 
That hole allows access to the parking brake mechanism located inside the hub on the rear wheels.

The access hole for the parking brake adjuster is only in the rear rotors, and it's in the wheel mounting face, not on the outside of the "hat" section like the one in the photo; have no idea what that hole would be for in a front rotor.
