Okay folks, now that we have identified Commander 950, we need exact parts ordering and other information as follows. Help will be highly appreciated (as usual
). here is the story:
We have an LT-1 engine removed from a wrecked 94 Chevrolette Corvette. The engine is complete with its injectors, TPS, EGR valve, MAP sensor, throttle body, knock sensors, ignition coil and other attached parts. However it does not have O2 sensors and the MAF sensor. Engine number is V0616ZVB.
The project is to install the engine on a 1967 RS Camaro together with the 6 speed manual ZF transmission and the differential from the same wrecked Corvette. A "Paxton Superscharger" will also be installed on the engine. Fuel injectors, fuel rails, etc will remain the same way they are on the LT-1 engine.
We have so far identified the Holley Commander 950 as the ECU of this project. We need following questions to be answered before we can proceed with our purchase of the required parts:
1. What are the Holley parts that are required for our project; i.e. is there a complete kit that we can order or are the parts to be ordered individually?
2. Is there a need to install a MAF sensor in our application and if so what part numbers are recommended; i.e. the sensor, its harness, etc? Same questions for O2 sensors...
3. What is meant by "custom crank trigger installation" that is stated in the Holley web pages for the LT-1 engine application.
Cheers,
Selim
