Hood / fender panel needs glue?

OK- folks, here's a question:
On my 81 , the headlights have chipped away the paint from the body, at the corners of the headligh openings.
Upon further investigation, the body has become seperated from the re-enforcement bar that runs just under the body top (in front of the hood opening). I am told that this is not uncommon.
The metal re-enforcement bar has been sanded, along with the body panel underside - all in preparation for a bonding adhesive to attach these 2 back together.
MY QUESTION IS THIS- Is this body panel fiberglass in this area- (which seems to be part of the fenders), or is it a composite?
Seems it makes a difference when you purchase the adhesive, as there are different types- one for fiberglass, one for composites.
Thank you very much for any help you can send my way. Mike J.

Just in case anyone is interested-
The front section is, of course, fiberglass.

I repaired the nose section back to the re-enforcement bar by applying an epoxy that I got from my local auto paint shop. The brand name slips my beer pickled brain, but its good stuff , cost was $30.
Had to prep both surfaces (sanded to hell and back) applied the epoxy and clamped down with 6 c-clamps, let set overnight and presto- its a done deal. The epoxy had a 30 minute working time, and 1 hour set up, but i let it set overnight for good measure.
Looks like it came from the factory.
If anyone has the same problem, shoot me an email and i'll help all that i can. Mike J.
