Just got my new hood in from Ecklers been a while but stock wouldn't close with the new motor :D so new high rise cowl hood going on right now.

I was aligning the hood and on the last striker plate, passenger side and the hood latched pull the release cable and that side stays latched........anyone got any idea how to get the thing to unlatch. It appears that there is too much pressure between the striker and the latch, tried everything I can think of, can't get in the bottom, top, side nothing.........obviously need to get back in there :mad

ANY help would be MUCH appreciated...............

Paul.

Hi, don't go ballistic yet! Did you try to lift up the drivers side enough to reach in and pull the cross cable? If that doesn't work than go ballistic and grab the rear of the hood and shake like crazy. PG
