Is there an easy way to make some fine adjustments on the hood latches? When I close the hood on mine, the driver's side latch usually doesn't catch without some "encouragement" from me (i.e., what amounts to slamming it). :ugh

This is a tricky subject. There are all kinds of adjustments that you can do but the quickest and easiest is the rubber butt stop located right by the latch itself. If you adjust it DOWN, the hood will latch without you having to "coax" it along.

Thanks, "Junkman!" I'll give that a try! Always start simple, I usually say! :thumb

hood latch

My mechanic pointed out that I need to oil the latch occasionally. Doing that cured the problem. How simple
