Hood Problem (what else?)

My 93 Hood had hinge bolts loose, tightened and adjusted hood. Closed OK twice, now drivers side won't open. Will pop up an inch or two, pass side opens OK. How do I get open and what could my problem be?

Hood Problem

Drivers side opens part way, leads me to believe there is something else wrong besides cable. Cable isn't broken.

Fixed. After I got the hood open I found the hood pin tightened down tight against the spring and the pin was shimed with alignment shims under the back of the hood pin bracket. Don't have a clue why anyone woud do this. Removed shims, loosened pin so spring wasn't bound up, now hood works perfectly.
