Hood won't open

I just got a 75 vet. It's a beauty but I cant get the hood open every which way I tryed. I pulled the release bar on both sides, the left one released fine, but the right one would not release the hood. I'm sure I pulled it all the way. Please help.. Any ideas.

Not sure if it's the same issue my 78 use to have but... put your hand under the hood and find the protected steel cable that goes from the left release to the right release. Pull back towards the windshield and that may release the hood. Always worked for me.

hello sometimes my right side sticks and won't unlatch. i pull the left side up and pull the cam lever that actuates the cable across.
if you think the cable is broken there is a small round plug in the wiper valley(don't know what to call it) the plug is directly in line with the right latch
also there was a topic about this same thing about a month ago.
