When the stock shifter on my 64 Vert was replaced with a Hurst shifter, the backup light switch and assembly was removed. I'd like to order a replacement and hook it back up but will it work with a Hurst?

Should

I just last week put a Hurst shifter in replacing one I had and I remember reading and seeing a spot on the reverse linkage plate for it.

Thanks. How difficult of a job is it to hook up the switch?

Don't Know

I don't have back up lights on the 62 so I didn't have to deal with that part of it. I can't see it being all that bad, I'm sure someone in here knows, keep the thread alive.

I have to do that on mine

A pix would be VERY cool.

( And no.. I'm not dead.. just been REALLY busy @ work..)

Did you have to drill?

Or was the little hole already drilled into the reverse arm.. I think mine has no hole!!!!
