Horn Button on steering wheel....

Has anybody here ever removed it from a '73 or equivilant?
I need to "turn" mine so it is straight , and it could use some touching up.
I cant seem to move it without the horn going off...i could disconnect the battery , but I dont want to break it trying what i dont know.
Any tips greatly appreaciated.

If I remember correctly, it just pulls off. Once you get it off you can see what you need to do to center it.

Brusso's right - - just give it a tug... it only blows for a sec . . ditto when you replace it.
