Driving down the street and out of the corner of my eye I see a 74' Corvette sitting on a corner lot with a FOR SALE sign in the window. $500! As the smoke clears from me locking up my brakes I walk up to the car. Closer and closer I get and realize that this poor Vette should be put out of its misery. I think the only useable part of the vehicle would have been the frame.....Maybe.
This is a partial list of the crimes against the corvette.

6cyl engine installed (dont know if it ran)
Bench seat
Heater vents in dash cut out to accomidate the 6 disk CD changer
Individual sun roofs (yes each side mounted sideways) cut into the T-tops
Front nose piece riped off the car
All the glass was gone

The car didnt look to bad out the corner of my eye doing 25 MPH with a rear 3/4 view from 150' but I almsot cried when I saw it.....

Any one else have tragic coments to share about poor Corvettes abused and Neglected?

YOU WILL NEVER BELIVE THIS!!!

I T S O L D !

The guy told me that someone driving a BMW bought it to fix up for his son. His son is 13 and thought that it would be a great dad and son project to build this and then give it to him for his 16th Birthday.

There is a sucker born every minute. Someone would have to pay me to take it off their hands.

Actually guys I bought that Vette. The engine was a Blue Flame 6 cyclinder out of a 1953. They only make 300 of these cars. Now that I have the engine I can drop it into my 53 and make it worth over $130,000 USD....just kidding but you never know unless you look.

I found a 1960 in Manheim Germany in 1970 with an Opel inline 6 in it. Being GM it probably bolted to the bellhousing. I could almost understand that with it being near impossible to get a Chevy V8 in Europe in 1970. The whole car was euro spec with kilometers on the speedo ext. but that 6 was just plain wrong.
