Hot Cam

Can anyone tell me what G M used to identify a vette with a HOT CAM ? There must be a Part # or option #. I just saw the tests on LT4s stock off the line at the plant coming with nothing under 345 hp all the way to 392hp/ It says they some came with a a hot camAny one know ??:cool

GM never installed the "LT4 Hot Cam" in any production engine. The "Hot Cam" was developed as an aftermarket upgrade by Chevy Performance.

As for 392-hp, you'll never see that by just installing the Hot Cam but you may get close if you install the Hot Cam and if you install exhaust headers along with a custom tune.

The GM part number for the LT4 Hot Cam for installation into an engine that already has the 1.6 is 24502586.
