Any ideas? I think there is a webpage for such questions? Anyone know where to find out this sort of info??

Check the corvette Black Book.

The Black Book shows 22,789 cars made that year. 7,407 were 'Verts or 32% of cars built. 4,282 had the 4+3 tranny. 32% of that is 578 cars. That's a rough number.

Cheers! :beer

32% of ???what is 578?? Are you saying that there were only 578 verts with the 4+3 built in 1988???? And why are you even taking 32% of whatever imaginary number to arrive at the ridiculously low number??

Thanks for the info. While the exact numbers may be hard to come by, wedo know that: 22,789 cars were made that year, and that 7407 were rag tops, we further know that 4282 had a 4+3 ( at least these are numbers as indicated by record books). Then it would not be a streatch to say that most of the rag tops were autos as most were. That would not leave may ragtop 4+3.
Would Chevy be able to give the exact numbers?
