Any idea? I've tried to access them every way short of removing the front air dam but can't get in there. Any tips would be appreciated.

raise the headlights and remove the front plastic cover and reach down from the top passed the opening. use rubber glove so the oil from your fingers do not get on the bulbs as this will cause them the cloud up

Looks like Motorman's got ya hooked up for foglight replacement . . .

Welcome to the :CAC

It's got to be sweet cruising around Hawaii with the top down on your Corvette! What Hawaiian island do you live on, Oahu?

I spent a few years on the islands back in the 70's thanks to Uncle Sam.

When ya get some spare time, post a few scenic pictures of your Corvette for us.

Later . . . . . .

Hey 6 Shooter. Yep, I'm on Oahu. It's not too shabby. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. Take care.

Hey I know this is an old thread but I just stubbled across it. I took my fog lights out last year to clean them and see how they worked as far as the adjustment and etc. Mine were adjusted way too low, sure made a differance after I got them adusted. Like a lot of things they are not made to work on easily but it is workable.

Ended up I removed the panel underneath the air damn and to the rear on both sides; it made getting up in there a lot easier. I also removed some of the screws in the fender well to access the fog lights as well. Once you get the panels out of the way you can see the bottom side of the fog light brackets and they weren't to bad to get to then. Close quarters but it really wasn't that bad. There is just one bolt that holds the fog light, I unplugged it and then I could see what made it tick so to speak. The adjustment screw works with a spring to raise them up and down. Anyway after you remove these panels it is not too bad. Hope this helps some, like I said I know this is old and you may have it by now just thought I would throw this out there just in case you haven't done anything yet.

Have a great week-end.

Hi t34bravo -

Remove the 8mm bolts holding the access panel on and then remove the bulb

Look under the car in front of the fenderwell - you wil see the access panel -

It is best to do thin on a lift or up on jackstands etc - but it CAN be done on the ground -

Some have domne this by reaching in through the headlight housing - but my big hands won't go through - and besides - the plastic is like razors in there in my experience....

best regards -

The last one I did, I took front hood stopper out with a 13mm, and reached in felt for it, unplugged it and took the bulb out just need to be careful about touching the bulb with your fingers.

But as stated, you may need small hands...

That is how I replaced my headlamp bulbs, too. Loosen the nut that determines the position of the hood stop just enough to unscrew the hood stop bolt. Remove the bolt, being careful not to move the positioning nut. When replacing the bolt, install finger tight, then tighten the nut. It gives me enough room to get my relatively large arms in there.
