How do I know if a car is an LT-1? I know this is a rookie question.

If it's a '72, it will have an 'L' as the fifth character in the VIN.

No such luck... My picture is to big to upload i will need to figure out how to resize.

look up the web site called photobucket ,then register with them its free,you then can upload & resize all your picture to any site you wish>
