Anyone have any tips on how to store a C4 for the winter months? I know about unhooking the battery and using stabil in the gas, but is there anything else? I have heard that tires can become flat spotted if a car sits too long. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks:beer

There are different opinions regarding the tires during winter storage. To avoid flat spotting when I was up North, I would keep a thick carpet remnant under each tire and inflate to about 40 lbs. I never noticed any permanent flat spotting with this approach.

Others may suggest lifting the car to take the weight off the tires. It may not do any damage but I don't like the thought of the suspension hanging in that position all winter. You may also have a need to move the car quickly in the event of an emergency (fire).

You can always drop it off with me. I'll make sure it gets driven on a regular basis all winter. :) :eyerole ;LOL

I prefer driving the car at least once every two weeks in the winter on a nice day. After all, they were built to drive. This is how I store my car. I don't drive it in the snow or when there is salt on the road, but, you do get nice dry and salt free days in the winter months. My opinion, it's healthier for the car to move it around. :cool

Thanks for the advice. I thin I'll try the drive it once every two weeks approach.:)
