how fast can I go?

I have a question that nobody ive spoken to can awnswer. How fast can you go with a convertable C5 without fear of ripping the top off?

They have been tested to the top speed rating with the top up, at about 160, depending on conditions.
Just make sure you have the HVAC in recirculation mode.

And just out of morbid curiosity, how fast can the verts go with the tops down

Hi there,
The Recirc is so that cowl pressures at the base of the windshield do not push into the cabin and push the top up. The body vent helps, but in top speeds, it doesnt vent enough with a flexible top.

Yes - I've heard of this manuver. I believe it's refered to as the high speed worble. And I'm also under the impression that you have to get it right the "first" time.:L
