How is the Z06's powerband?

Correct me if Im wrong... but I thought the new Z06 was faster than a ZR1

It is in 0-60 range, and quarter mile. But the ZR-1 has a higher top speed than the Z06, and with its overhead-cam technology, it is known for its extremely wide power band, meaning it has lots of "kick" anywhere across the RPM board. I am wondering how well the Z06 holds up in higher RPM's.

The ZR1 vs Z06 debate has been discussed in many threads on different forums. Bottom line, the Z06 edges out the ZR1 up to 100 mph at which point the ZR1 starts to walk away from it. Both cars are awesome and both hold a special place in Corvette history. I have driven both and I would be very thankful to own either one.........or better yet, both!

I don't know what you mean by this question. But I can say that anything above 4000rpms is a lot of fun. As you can see by the dyno, the power keeps climbing all the way to the redline. It just keeps on pulling.. Another fun thing about this car is how well it pulls up top. Even in 4th gear around 120mph, it will still put you back in your seat if you stand on it. So I honestly dunno if a ZR1 would walk away above 100mph like someone said. I do realize the ZR1 has a higher top speed. Also, both cars are fantastic machines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
