How long did your ordered C6 take to arrive?

Hi Folks...

I ordered my first Corvette last week, and the dealer told me to expect a 7-10 week delivery time. Have any of you ordered one, and how long did you wait?

Order time...

I ordered mine from Monica at Maxie Price in the middle of September and picked it up at the end of October at the Museum....
Took about 5 to 6 weeks....

I wasn't quite so lucky, I ordered my Z51 6Spd in late September. The dealer at that time said 6-8 weeks, by Thanksgiving. But it didn't happen. They kept putting me off with excuses, they couldn't get the order in due to whatever. At one point they said it was because convertables where being made now, sooner than expected, preventing Coupe orders (???). Who knows what was going on, probably just bumping me in favor of others. In any event, I finally picked it up 2 days ago on December 17th. So it took 12 weeks. Worth the wait!

Alot has to do with the Dealers Preference date. If he doesnt have one he cant order until he does.
Ordered mine on Nov 11,(Dealers Preference Date) car built Dec 7th, Picked up at Museum Dec 17th
Allow for the Holiday shut down and this should give you some idea, they are running around 150 per day.

In my case, I really think I was being bumped in favor of other customers because when I asked how many the dealer had sold since my original September order, my salesman said, oh, 6 or 7. When I entered my order they said I was second in line. They obviously bumped me down the list to secure more customers. This dealer does a lot of Corvette sales each year.

I missed some pre-winter rides, but I can wait. It's enough to know it's snug under it's cover in my garage for the winter.

Thanks...I wrote the question 5 days after ordering, and I now have a status code of 3400 with a TPW of 1/3...Shouldn't be long now...
