How Long for Carpet to Dry?

I just applied carpet dye to my C4 interior. It was from a spray bottle (dye and water mixed), and I sprayed it on and then brushed it into the carpet in the faded areas. I think it will turn out nicely.

My carpet is damp/wet from the spray, so I am wondering how long it will take for the carpet to dry? It is a clear day here, temps in the mid 60's. I have the rear open and the doors. At what point could I close the car without worrying about mildewy smells? Thanks!

I have no idea how long it would take the carpet to dry...but I'd allow a couple of days, at least.

Let us know how the dye came out.
