I can smell the clutch burning.
Last weekend I let a friend take me for a ride in the CE. He could drive stick but not well. He was pretty hard on the clutch. He tried to do a strong take off from a stop and ended up burning the clutch. It was stinking when we got back, just went around the block, 10 minute ride. I have been smelling clutch ever since.
How can I tell the condition of the clutch?
The car only has 22000 on it. Mostly lady driven from 9000 to 20,000 miles. She was second owner. I am third owner.
