Hey everyone,

How can you tell if your vacuum secondaries are opening?

Thanks!

Put a small paper clip on the vacuum canister's rod, and then take a drive on a moderate hill. Then pull over, and you will either see that the paper clip is not in the relative location you placed it, and if so, then they are opening. When the engine is going through a load, the vacuum secondary canister will retract the rod which is connected to the throttle plates.

Hope this helps...:thumb

Hi

Or disconnect the 2ndary vacuum canister in order to keep the 2ndaries closed. Drive the car to max on the highway.
The reconnect the 2ndaries and try again.
Difference should be enormeous.
