I was just thinking, how do I know if my Corvette, for instance, has the M21 option or not (because I think that was an option, right? And I don't know if the original owner ordered this option or not). There is stuff I would like to know like whether or not I have a 3.66:1 ratio or if it's the base ratio (3.08:1??).

Same thing with other parts. How exactly do you find out what parts are in and under your Corvette? Thanks!! :D

Yes, I remember hearing about the build sheet on the gas tank. Maybe on a fine summer day when I have nothing to do and work on with the Vette I'll try to get at it. But until then, I'll try to be content. :)

Thanks!! :)

TR, your car came originally with the M20 and a 3.36:1 axle; the M21 was only available with the L-82, and there were no optional axle ratios with a 4-speed L-48.
