how to properly lower a C4?

My 86 could sit a inch lower,

For those who have lowered there cars, how did you do it, are you happy with the results, and would you do it again?

I have lowering kit I purchased from Mid-Amarica some time ago, consists of longer spring bolts for rear, Uratheae bumpers for front, I have not installed it,

Will I need a 4 wheel alignment?,

86 convert pace car, 72K miles
SLP cold air induction, K&N
Flowmaster cat back
Recent major service- tune up
(ecm, tps, mas-air, plugs, wires, etc. etc)
high perf. fuel pressure regulator
2000 C5 rims

Did it some years ago and have heim joints everywhere, rear and poly vs rubber everywhere else.

The lowering looks cooler and may have added to the already great handling, but ANY and ALL speed bumps and many drive-over curbs are NOT my friends, now. I cringe as I traverse them at a 45 degree angle, waiting for something to scrape. Used to be my headers.

Look under and see what is lowest and how much clearance you have/ how much you dare to lower. Assess your local driving conditions per the above. The bolts allow rear adjustment in height; the wedge up front replaces the factory rubber piece and does not.
