Every morning when I start my 2002 corvette coupe the average mpg, trip stats, etc are reset to zero. This just started in the last 30 days. What do I have to do to stop this from happening?

What happens with other data which is affected by the DICs "reset" button?

what c4c5 stated battery crapping out or bad connections Steve

HI there,
Check your battery connections, but your battery is probably on the way out.
Allthebest, c4c5

Agreed! I was getting this all the time on my C5 a few years ago, and putting in a new battery completely cured it!

It's kinda nice that the C5 does this, as it gives you advance warning that the battery is getting weak so you never end up getting stranded due to a dead battery. Even when my battery was low enough on voltage to cause the settings (MPG, avg speed, etc.) to reset themselves, it still had enough juice to start the car on a sub 0F morning. But I know if I left it too long before replacing it, I would've had one morning where it would not have started on me.

Mine is doing the same. New Battery time I guess.:eyerole
