New guy checking in from the big city of Clyde Texas (Blink and you'll miss it).
Got my first Corvette back in November 2011. It was a gift for myself. I bought her from my Brother from another Mother. She sat for 4 years all alone when he got stationed in Japan. He has since retired and has stayed in the land of the rising sun. Since I brought her home I've been slowly fixing some field mouse damage, age issues, and just enjoying her.
Being completely retired (due to some military disability issues) I have alot of free time. I use any excuse I can come up with to go for a drive. For those days when I can't fold enough to get down that low I reluctantly take my old suburban but I have to really feel bad for that to happen
.
She is a 1991 L98 Turquoise Metallic 6 spd Coupe. She is getting new paint to fix the sun damage from the cruel Texas sun. She runs like her a$$ is on fire and it is awesome!!!
