As a new member, I have researched a number of articles regarding fixing the dim backlights in the HVAC unit on the c5 Corvettes. My problem is that I have a problem that has not been discussed. My HVAV unit has no problems with backlighting when the ignition is off. All lighting works as it should. When I start the engine all of the backlighting disappears. the Unit lighting on the buttons, the leg temperature and all other functions works as they should. When I turn the engine off. and pull the key out, the backlighting magically comes on, and stays on when I exit the car until the the armed light goes out. Is this normal? Thanks for any Help or suggestions as to what to look for.
