Hydrogen Powered C-4

Also anyone who thinks that the oil companies are going to stop at $2.00 a gallon I have a bridge I would like to talk to you about! :) Anyone want to guess what they are paying for gasoline in Europe?
Gas is more in Europe because they have even more ridiculous taxes on it than we do.

http://www.energy.ca.gov/gasoline/statistics/gas_taxes_by_state_2002.html

A gallon of gas is average 1.895 in the US right now. Average tax is 42 cents. That's a 22% tax (on just the retail price). Any other products you buy that have a 22% sales tax on them?

Yeah, well.....buy gasoline in Japan, as I do for my TG Honda bike. More like $4/gallon.

The wealthier drive big American cars/vans. The wealthiest (and coolest) drive Vettes! :D

Maybe the hydrogen generation question answer will not be electrolysis, but chemical production. I would suspect hat any road certification process would require crash testing, answering the explosion issues yea or nay.

I figured solar generation costs for my CA house during the ENRON thievery, and found a 15-20 year payback, AFTER rebates; not too enticing, YET. I understand that shifting the energy production to a nuke or fossil fuel plant makes elecric cars brownish-green, not totally green, but posted this link as being of interest AND Vette related. Hell, if you were working on such a project, would you convert a Volvo or a Vette? ( I like Volvos, BTW).

I would gladly pay more in gas taxes if all the tax went to building and maintaining roads and infrastructure that directly benefited road and highway traffic. As it is, some of it gets siphoned off into general funds, alternative transportation and other wet dreams.
