Hypertech or Diablo Sport or Jet which is the best?

I am the owner of a 1999 C5 and want to buy a programmer which one is the best bang for the buck ? Which ones do you use and why...

For C5, I've had best results with the hand-held programmer that Crane Cams sells.

Diablo Sport Wins

I had a friend bring over his Hypertech we de programmed his car and instlled it in mine we did the same with a Diablo Sport... I saw a minor gain with Hypertech not bad but not really wild.

With the Diablo Sport the the engine came to life It kicked butt!!!.. felt completely different and it feels like I gain at least 25 to 35 horses I am going with Diablo Sport...

Now I wonder how much you does it really gain? Love this programmer.

BTW check around the price varies a a lot from site to site I ordered mine from Concours for $ 386. better than 499 at most sites

I've had experience with Diablosport only. The customer support is great, and if you do anything like a cam swap, they can email you a tune to be downloaded into your programmer. The only drawback is they can't get it totally exact, with results that would give you a perfect A/F ratio, but they can come close based on the information you provide them. For the best overall results, getting everything out of you modifications is to visit a dyno tuner. Nothing else can get you all the horses without any left on the table. Dyno tuners usually run $500/ session. Once they have you on file, anything else you do costs $60-$100 to dyno.

It also is a great way of recording your gains with every mod. having a printable version and something to show your friends and rivals. :L

Hypertech is a relatively inexpensive place to start for shift points, fan temps on an A4 Doesn't do much for a 6 gear........
