Nah, that's not too bad. The bad thing is having to lay on the sill on your back while you unscrew the two screws that are holding the CPU box in place. :L:L:L

With a good extension, you can do it by feel...

That has to be annoying because that little box makes noise when it's processing, at least mine does. Yeah, I'm guilty of leaving it on the floor for test drives when I swapped mine out. :L

Uhhh... if you can hear the ECU while you're driving, then your exhaust isn't loud enough...

well i got to my ECM just now, ihad the pass side seat out for another reason and it made getting down below the hush panel a snap. actually kind of confrontable?? well i got the ECM out and the chip cover off. i have a hypertech chip inside. are they 50 state smog legal? could this be a reason i failed emissions?

I do not believe that the Hypertech will deviate far enough from the stock PROM for you to fail emissions.

Unless it makes the car run too cool... or it's the wrong chip for his application.
